Rhonda Byrne's book "The Magic" serendipitiously found it's way into my hands, while perusing a 2nd hand book store. I am always open to books re-inforcing the power of positive thinking / living but it was also the visual of this book that caught my eye.
This particular book is an adjunct to the very popular and well received "The Secret". With a very practical 28 day practice, "The Magic" introduces you to the simple act of giving thanks. Ancient scriptures, scholars, native leaders, politicians, etc. have all exuded the magnetism of gratitude.
I am half way through this wonderful process and I can honestly say that practicing gratitude and saying "thank you" has made a definite shift in my everyday existence. Already my subconscious mind is thwarting those negative thoughts and feelings and I tend to "look at the silver lining!" As a daily exercise regime helps your body to stay healthy, so too does this daily practice of gratitude "lighten the load!"
I urge you get a copy of your own and begin this daily 'exercise' of gratitude....you'll be happy you did!
